Valorbrook Angus Stud was founded in 1994 by Brett, Rana & Ashley Haager and is situated 13kms from Bell near the Bunya Mountains.
Strong emphasis has always been placed on continual upgrading of the female herd to maintain a superior herd of cows, displaying and producing animals that exhibit the renowned traits which have made the Angus breed so popular.
We strive to produce cattle we like that suit all breeding programs in the commercial environment. We choose to retain only highly functional, fertile, hard working cows within our herd and have never lost sight of the highly important commercial re-sale value of cull/cast for age cows achieved with the larger framed units when selecting our replacement heifers each year.
We market around 70 bulls per year and these are presented at various multi-vendor sales around Queensland, or sold privately. Valorbrook bulls receive forage sorghum, Jap millet and oats preparation with a light grain ration incorporated if the season demands – our belief being that bulls will not perform efficiently in paddock conditions with a show-ring preparation.
On farm visitors welcome and inspections are always available. |
