The Queensland Angus Forum is a new event organised by the Queensland Angus State Committee.
The event is comprised of one day of seminar presentations and panel discussions with industry specialists, and a social dinner. It will be held in Roma on Wednesday 9th June, working in with cattle sales in the town on the Tuesday and Thursday.
This unique Forum is the first of its kind to be held, and aims to attract beef industry members from all aspects of the supply chain, from producers to processors, backgrounders to feedlotters.
This forum will expose delegates to valuable information and discussion on Angus cattle and their increasing popularity with the consumer, demand in the industry marketplace and the best management techniques to benefit all involved in the rise and rise of the breed.
The Forum will also feature a special guest speaker, Senator Barnaby Joyce. Senator Joyce will be speaking on "Overcoming the challenges for an ever-increasing voting minority group".
