Diamond Ridge Angus Stud is situated at “Acedale”, Southbrook 30km south-west of Toowoomba on the Gore Highway.
Stud cattle have been successfully bred on the property by the family for over 50 years, firstly with AIS then, since 1996, performance recorded Angus.
Selecting for structure and soundness, high performance, high accuracy bulls are used in our AI programme. Our aim is to breed cattle that are efficient and have good growth for age as well as carcase qualities. Females must have impeccable mothering ability as well as fertility.
At Diamond Ridge docility is a must. We strive to breed cattle that are slick coated, strong in the spine and have plenty of thickness. They must be deep in the flank, easy doing cattle with efficient calving rates and the ability to cope with a range of environmental conditions.
