In Queensland we try to offer our members a diverse range of activities, events and awards.There are endless opportunities as a result of being involved in Angus Youth, including leadership roles, junior shows, international scholarships, and many more.

Landfall Angus Youth Roundup

 

Angus cattle, their handlers, parents, volunteers and others invaded the Wodonga Exhibtion Centre over the weekend as the annual Landfall Angus Youth Roundup swung into action for another year. 147 participants and over 150 cattle arrived in assorted trucks, trailers, utes, cars and caravans from New Zealand and all states of Australia for four days of fun and education.

Young Beef Producers' Forum

 

The western Queensland community of Roma was the meeting place once again for the Young Beef Producers Forum, held on the 19 & 20 November. Over the past five years the Forum has developed a distinct reputation for educating and uniting the youth of the beef industry, and
this year provided another unique experience for the eighty delegates the event attracted.

Beef Cattle Assessment School, Dalby

 

Run each year, this is an opportunity for anyone involved or interested in the beef industry. 

This course is suitable for both experienced and novice industry participants who want an update on industry market options, herd selection and animal and carcase evaluation with plenty of hands on practice.
